The DSE manages the regulatory framework for land-use planning and environment assessment in Victoria. It provides advice on planning policy and urban design, strategic planning, and information on land development and forecasting. Planning in DSE is primarily delivered through the Office of Planning and Urban Design and the DSE regional offices.
