Faggs Miracle Makeover Project.

In 2004 Bayview Design & Drafting had the opportunity to be invovled in something fantastic!. By providing our Drafting services to Faggs Mitre 10, we together with over 200 other suppliers &

sub-contractors helped raise over $140,000 for "United Way Geelong".

United way then passed on the proceeds to 55 local community organisations, which assist ten's of thousands of Geelong people each year.

On Sunday November 6 2004 the Miracle Makeover house sold for $500,000, and over $140,000 was formally presented at the Faggs Mitre 10 150th Anniversary Dinner.

Well over 500 people attended the auction and enjoyed the festivities, including a BBQ, face painting and live music!.

The original weatherboardl house was refreshed from top to bottom, with new stumps, new plumbing and wiring and a new roof. However some of the original Californian bungalow features were retained- such as the leadlight front doors and windows.

The new home now features: Three bedrooms plus study, Master with ensuite & WIR, Built in robes to other rooms, Full laundry with built in ironing cupboard, formal lounge/theatre room, huge family & dining areas, polished hardwood floors, ducted heating throughout, ducted vacuum system, five star energy rating, double glazed windows throughout, huge North facing deck, water feature, paved outdoor area, double garage with automatic doors, rainwater tank, and fully landscaped gardens, the list just goes on and on....

Bayview Design & Drafting were proud to be a part of such a magnificent project, and were glad that we had the opportunity to do our part to help raise so much money for United Way Geelong. We are positive that the money was well appreciated by Geelong families and went a long way to help those in need.
