Aussie Spec Constructions Web Site |
Project ProcessA client meeting and site visit are carried out, where discussions take place with the client about what they require and would prefer, a hand drawn sketch by the client is always handy! The first sketch is done and another client meeting is usually set up, this sketch process usually takes two or three goes, and when the design is excactly what they client requires, we begin the final stages of the drafting process, another site visit may be required around this time to finalise and double check measurements (etc). When the client recieves thier finished plans they are then ready to submit to the relevant authority for the application of a permit. An invoice is not issued until the plans are finished and ready for submission, but is then due within 7 working days after being issued. The relevant authority on the Bellarine Peninsula is City Of Greater Geelong, where you can access the subheading "Services in Geelong" here you will find plenty of usefull information to guide you through both the building permit application process and the planning permit application process) or you may prefer to use a private building inspector, these can be located in the Yellow Pages Directory.
